In situations requiring high magnification, it may be necessary to frequently manually adjust the device for small positional changes during surgery, which can be distracting. The new AutoCenter function brings the tissue you are currently visualizing to the center of the field of view, providing optimized illumination and visualization, all completely hands-free.
AutoCenter recognizes surgical instruments during live video and focuses the field of view on the instrument tips using motorized x-y functionality. This enables hands-free positioning and ensures optimized illumination, visualization and documentation of surgical anatomy.
How Does the AutoCenter Function Work?
The new AutoCenter function automatically re-centers the device at the touch of a button, allowing you to make effortless and precise adjustments. The detected center is determined by a closed AI-trained algorithm.
When an instrument is detected, you can start the automatic centering process via the Foot Control Panel. If multiple instruments are detected, the center between the tips of these instruments is automatically calculated and focused. The kinematic design of the stand offers a new movement mode that allows the microscope to move only along the optical axis, maintaining the center and size of the anatomical structures being visualized. PointLock
The imaging head can be easily repositioned while the point of interest is focused in the center of the imaging field.
