During surgical procedures
Simplify visibility to save valuable time
Experience groundbreaking visualization capabilities combined with an optimized workflow when using the ZEISS EXTARO 300 for general otolaryngology procedures such as tympanoplasty, myringotomy, stapedectomy, mastidectomy, and transoral laser surgery.
Intuitive functionality minimizes interruptions and maximizes your focus on the surgery. Innovative data management solutions allow you to capture photos and record videos of each treatment, allowing you to customize it to your needs. Its small footprint, easy maneuverability, and adjustable axis mean it can be flexibly positioned in the operating room – even when space is limited.

Enhanced visualization with integrated capabilities
for a clearer view
The ZEISS EXTARO 300 helps you make better decisions by enabling you to more accurately assess the surgical situation. MultiSpectral Mode, NoGlare Mode and powerful illumination features enhance surgical visualization, enabling you to make accurate surgical decisions, including deep anatomical structures. This results in better outcomes for your patients.
Visualization improved – ZEISS EXTARO 300
MultiSpectral Mode
MultiSpectral Mode for improved contrast.
Low color contrast can make it difficult to recognize critical anatomical structures. The ZEISS EXTARO 300’s Multi-Spectral Mode increases this contrast, for example, to better distinguish between vascular structures and tissue or to check the vibrancy and fineness of the tympanic membrane.

NoGlare Mode
to suppress disturbing reflections
Light reflections sometimes complicate the surgical procedure and fine structures are barely recognizable. The NoGlare Mode of the ZEISS EXTARO 300 suppresses these disturbing reflections from liquids such as blood or water, allowing anatomical details and artificial implants to be distinguished faster and in greater detail.
One-Handed Operation
With Easy-to-Use Interactions
Since every intervention is unique, maximum concentration is required during a procedure so that deviations in the surgical workflow can be responded to appropriately and quickly. Even the slightest adjustment or repositioning of the otolaryngology microscope can significantly disrupt the focus and cause valuable time to be lost. Thanks to the user-friendly Mode Control button of the ZEISS EXTARO 300 and the Varioskop 230, which can be effortlessly adjusted with one hand, you can perform procedures with maximum focus and efficiency. Best in class.
Usability has been perfected – ZEISS EXTARO 300
Mode Control
to minimize interruptions in surgical workflow
With the Mode Control button, ZEISS EXTARO 300 allows you to activate all visualization modes and camera functionalities without taking your eyes off the surgical field. With its innovative balancing and movement system, frequent repositioning will no longer be a burden on your procedures.
Varioscope 230
to focus on the special ones
The Varioskop 230 allows you to effortlessly adjust the field of view and focus within a wide working range of 200 to 430 mm, using an ergonomic handle with just one finger, without moving the microscope.

Laser compatibility
For easy assembly
ZEISS EXTARO 300 is fully compatible with the micromanipulators of manufacturers and offers a tried-and-tested mounting system. With the optional laser package, the focus of the microscope can be locked on the same focal plane as the surgical laser to perform delicate procedures on the larynx and inner ear.
Digital Data Management
with smart solutions
High patient volumes and the resulting documentation can be demanding when it comes to collecting, organizing, and storing procedure-related images and videos. ZEISS digital solutions offer an easy and efficient way to manage data and facilitate professional peer collaboration and training. By integrating applications such as ZEISS Surgical Cloud and ZEISS Livestream into your daily routine, you can efficiently store, share, and stream your clinical cases directly from your device.
